Tips/Stratigies
For better Gaming without Cheats use these tips and stratigies.

Starcraft Tips

Tip #1: When mining for minerals always have at least one worker on each mineral deposit, depending on how far it is, put into accont how long it takes the worker to finish mining so another worker can work on the same one.

Tip #2: Also the same for vespane guysers, only make sure thier are at least 3 per. vespane guyser.

Tip #3: When making large amounts of units that take long to build, always make more than one builder. (ie. I want to make a fleet of battle crousers so I make 5 starports with control towers to make them) doing this will decrease building time and create the ability to attack more quickly.

Tip #4: Always make sure that you build supply depots when neccisary(when making units keep an eye out on the supply limit to make sure the making of the depot wont delay the production of units) also do the same with overlords and pylons for different races.

Tip #5: Try to create a defence that can hold off all oponents. For instance if your terrien make a few bunkers and put in marines and fire bats. Than make tanks and put them just behind the bunkers so that if they attack with long range units like tanks you are able to fend them off(and realy dissapoint the other player that attacked you!). After that make misle turrents for cloaked units and close range air units. Then (if you are in expansion) make valcuries to attack guardians and other air units that are strong including Battle Crousers. And. After all that put scv's near your bunkers and tanks so while they are attacking you can repair the bunkers and units.

Tip #6: If You are Protoss Always make sure that you have at least two pylons powering each building and consider making a photon cannon next to your pylons to guard them better.

Tip #7: If you are zerg and you are playing on the expansion set, think about makeing specially desighned forces like hydras with lurkers so you can bring both in, and since only the hydralisks are attacking they will be the only ones attacked. Giving you time to bring in the lurkers and burrow them. Than you can back off the hydralisks and let the lurkers do the job. But watch out for detectors. Bring in an overlord or 2 to detect observers and back then up with mutalisks or devourers. The Devourers can also defend against overlords and science vessels rendering your lurkers invinsible. Repeat the proccess and you will surelly win if you have enough protection and keep building rienforcments.

Tip #8: If you are playing in expansion and are Terrien, always try to bring units that can heal (medics and scvs) with your attacking units so it is harder to kill your attacking units. (Also just in case keep in mind that scvs can repair air units. Also remember that if your allied with someone who is zerg medics can also heal any zerg unit, so try and back up your allies zerg units with medics.)

Tip #9: If you are playing in expansion and you are protoss, when you are attacking and an enemy unit is becomeing annoying and keeps killing your units but you cant kill it. Then use a dark archons mind control to take over the unit. (ie. you are attacking terrien and he has some battle crousers that are being constantly repaired by scvs and you cant kill them so you simply take them over!) Wich also gives you a battle crouser that you can use to attack!

Tip #10: If you are playing in expansion and you are prottoss, try to take over one of your enemys workers with mind control! (If they are a different race of coarse! or else it would be pointless) Then you can use that unit to make a Terrien force or something! And best of all... using Terrien or Zerg units count as a different supply use as well! So if you took over all three races you could make 600 UNITS!!!(dedpending on what the unit supplie cost is) The only problem is that you still use the same minerals but you can make the workers you took over plus the workers you can make from thier Hatchery or Cammand Center harvest minerals for all three races as well so it aint that bad!

Tip #11: If you find out somehow that the person your playing against hasnt prepared for long range attacks use long range units to attack! In this case always attack with siege tanks, guardians or Reavers backed up by more unit of any range attack just in case they attack you with units. Remember to bring in air attacking units because these units cant attack them.

Tip #12: If your Prottoss than consider making shield batterys. They may not seem usefull but if you are feeling over powered in an attack you can bring them back to your base (hopefully you have enough devence to handle them if they follow you) and recharge them for the next attack.

Tip #13: Always attack your enemy where he least expects it. Then you can destroy a good section of his base before he has time to bring his units over.

Tip #14: (This ones kinda cheap) If you are able to, try to get rid of your enemys Home base (Cammand Center, Nuxes, Hatchery and its evolved stages) Then kill thier workers leaving them helpless. Then attack them untill they've figured out thier gunna run out of minerals soon and there is nothing they can do about it (then if they havnt quit yet they should sooner or later). But be aware of other bases they may have so you can make sure they're hopeless before heading back to base to make a final force to finish them off if you like.

Tip #15 the last tip I'm realeasing to non-members: If you are finding that you are still having trouble even with these tips and stratigies. Go to a one player game and create your own stratigies. (try not to use cheats though)
